Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This policy describes how the Primeira Igreja Batista de Worcester ("PIB Worcester", "we") handles information on our website and in our PIB Worcester mobile app (iOS and Android).

2. What we collect

The app does not require an account or login. We only collect information you voluntarily submit through forms, such as:

• Prayer requests (message and, optionally, your name and contact);
• Connection card / "I'm new here" (name, email and/or phone);
• Event RSVPs (name, WhatsApp and party size);
• Testimonies and mutual-aid posts (message and contact).

This information is used exclusively by our pastoral and ministry teams for prayer, follow-up and organizing church activities.

3. What we do NOT do

• We do not sell or rent your data to third parties;
• We do not show ads or use advertising trackers;
• We do not build behavioral profiles or track you across apps and websites.

4. Data that stays on your device

Your Bible notes, highlights, bookmarks, sermon notes, reading-plan progress and saved items are stored locally on your device and are not sent to our servers.

5. Where data is stored

Information submitted through forms is stored securely with infrastructure providers acting as data processors (currently Supabase, with media served via Cloudflare). Videos are played through the official YouTube player and are subject to YouTube/Google policies when you watch them. Recent Instagram posts are loaded through Meta's official API and may request images from Meta's servers; when you open a post, you are taken to Instagram and become subject to the platform's policies.

6. Public content in the app

Prayer requests and testimonies only appear publicly in the app after review and approval by our church team, and always according to the visibility option you chose when submitting.

7. Removing your data

You may request correction or deletion of information you submitted (including prayer requests and testimonies) at any time by writing to contato@pibworcester.org . We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

The app's content is appropriate for the whole family. Data-submission forms are intended for users 13 and older, or with parental guidance.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the update date at the top.
